Not a bad holiday park clean and tidy.
Great place to holiday, lots to do and see, nice walks. Beach two mins walk away, train and buses on the doorstep into surrounding towns. Lots of activities for the children. Friendly staff on hand to help.
Updated for 2018 visit - The caravan we were staying in had been downgraded but a refund was sorted out quickly as was a few other special requests for the disabled members of our party. Great service from Terry on reception! The entertainment was spot on with shows created in house by Entertainment manager Luke and Assistant Entertainment Manager Charlotte with new Park Stars, some belting singing and plenty of unscripted entertainment to keep everyone amused! Plenty for everyone on the entertainment side, for the kids and the adults. The site is undergoing a transformation and being updated in a lot of areas and I look forward to visiting again next year
Really nice site with plenty of caravans for all budgets even allowing dogs in certain caravans. Plenty of pubs and shops to wonder around and a really nice beach close bye. 2 to hire a deck chair for the day and if you don't take pack lunch there is Plenty to choose from close by.
Third year at this park and what a disappointment. First day went to pool only to be told, Sorry its full and there are others waiting! The outdoor pool was closed although full of water, we complained but were told the chlorine levels werent correct and we could always use their other site half a mile up the road. The Laundrette had burned down along with the shop and reception. They were using a static van to work from. The caravan we had must have one of the oldest and tatty inside with big cobwebs above the wardrobes and room corners. With the hot weather weve been having for the past several weeks youd think they would make provisions, but no. The clubhouse was stifling with only 2 ceiling fans down at the front of the room and short of staff, again!!!This has ruined it for us, wont be back here again. Staff were not interested, just take your money and then deaf you off! No wonder more people go abroad, and not much more expensive. If you have a bad meal or item is no as expected, you get your money back. Why should you have to pay hundreds of pounds and get mugged off and be charged full price for the privilege?!Absolutely Pants
