Perhaps I caught the chap on a bad day. I asked if I could bring my dog in as there was nowhere to tie her up outside. Yes, he grudgingly said, as long as she doesn't pee everywhere. Ok, because that's what dog's do. I asked for paint pads. Quite a reasonable request in a DIY store, I thought. You would have thought I had asked for a crack pipe! What! He said. We don't sell those. Only brushes and rollers, sorry. He was not sorry. Didn't crack a smile or even the beginnings of one. What an extremely unpleasant experience. I'll go to their teignmouth branch in future where maybe they have some common courtesy. Or B&Q.
