I've been to the MIU 3 times in the last few weeks. Twice with my 89 year old mother in law and once for myself and on all three occasions had to leave after waiting for over 2 hours. The X-Ray department was really good , seen within minutes. Would not go again but would make doctors appointment or A&E where at least the nurses are not wafting around, drinking coffee and chatting whilst patients have been waiting hours to be seen.

For the first time in almost 20 years it appears all of its facilities are being used!
Friendly atmosphere. Short wait for emergency treatment, so much easier then trekking to Exeter or Torbay. Has an xray facility. Pity it doesnt offer physio. Teignmouth is difficult to get to, especially if you have problems walking, and this the ideal place with a level car park right outside. Not a place that is being used to its full potential which is a shame.
Amazing, fantastic experience of this hospital. My husband and mum needed an X-ray, swift, efficient service.
